Best fast food burger around. Yes, that includes In-N-Out

So i understand that this post will anger many people. I realize that the Californians out there will be up in arms about my claim that there is a better burger than In-N-Out, but i don’t care. In-n-out is mediocre at best. The burger I’m talking about is larkburger, and it beats any other fast food or fast casual burger out there hands down. The larkburger begins with a perfectly cooked, perfectly hand formed Angus beef patty, far superior to five guys, smashburger, and of course any of the other national burger chains. The burger perfection doesn’t stop there though. The bun is perfectly proportioned to the burger and other toppings; not too fluffy or soggy, but a perfect bun toasted to perfection. The cheese on the burger is Tillamook cheddar, which frankly can’t be beat domestically. What really sets the burger apart from others though, is most certainly the special sauce. When I hear special sauce, i immediately think of the thousand island derivative found in every other burger chain. I assure you though larkburger’s sauce is nothing like it, or like any other sauce i have tasted on a burger before. I assure you it’s amazing. This burger added to perfect shoestring fries, the use of truffles, and really cool design makes a pretty damn fantastic burger joint, i might even say one of the best. so check it out for sure.
Crossroads Follow Up
So I thought I’d do a follow up on my last post regarding my choice of phones. I went ahead and bought the Blackberry in stead of the HTC. My biggest fear in doing so was that i would miss the big touch screen. I can honestly say though, that i haven’t once even thought about what i used to have. There are deffinitely quite a few things that i prefer about the BB. The camera on the Bold is faster, higher res, and seems to just work better than the one i had on the iPhone. On top of that, while the iPhone gave only options to email or MMS the photo, the blackberry can do so much more, even post directly to Tumblr, not to mention i can get to it in under a second with a dedicated button. Pretty damn cool. I also love the messaging system on the Blackberry. From the main messages application i can access facebook, twitter, email, bbm, and more all from one place. Also, all of your messages are stored locally on the phone, and everything is pushed real time. Overall I can say i am pretty happy with my decision and i really haven’t had a single regret. If i find myself missing the touchscreen or anything offered by the iPhone or android, i will be sure to post it, but for now no such complaint exists.
Crossroads
I stand here, or rather sit here, in front of my computer at a crossroads, a major life decision. This might be the decision that decides my whole future. HTC Aria or Blackberry Bold. That’s right. I am so hung up on this decision that i have decided to blog about it. On one hand I have the blackberry, a sleek phone with a real keyboard, the pinnacle of mobile email technology, and BBM to keep me in easy contact with friends around the world (assuming they also have blackberries which lately seems to be the case). On the other hand, android is so freaking cool, and the Aria has a 5 MP camera. My worry about the blackberry is that after the iphone, it just won’t be enough. On the other hand i have wasted so much time on facebook, TFLN, FML, Angry birds, etc. that maybe i should get a simpler phone. Ugh. I just don’t know. I suppose i should sleep on it. and then conduct a poll. and read reviews. and basically mill this dilemma over and over in my head until i lose my mind. that sounds fantastic. i should probably just buy both.

My first and only blog post to date, about 6 months old
This was written when i was extremely bored on the aeroplane. Just now updating due to the lack of unsecured wireless networks.
As I begin to write this entry in my very new blog, I am on an airplane, probably somewhere over Spain or France, or some such god forsaken land. I am now 15 hours in transit and am not exactly a happy camper. Allow me to start from the beginning. I woke up this morning at 6 (Don’t ask me why!), showered, got dressed, finished packing, and drove over to Qdoba. Interestingly I found a Raising Canes cup in the parking lot, and the only person I can conceivably blame for this is Spencer Votipka. Anyway, the point is that I got a breakfast burrito. I drove down to the airport with no problems (you know, like traffic and speeding tickets). I got to the Lufthansa desk and was delighted to see that there was no line. At all. Well that ends the easy part of the trip. Apparently, even though I booked my ticket through Lufthansa, I was supposed to check in with united. It was early so I didn’t push it. I waited in the ridiculously long line with the other sheep. Now, I don’t know if anyone reading this has flown United recently, in fact, I don’t even know if anyone is even reading this. Anyhow, those cheap bastards don’t even hire people to check you in anymore. Nope, you get to deal with a f****** computer that is apparently clueless as to your actual destination. After about 15 minutes of dealing with this damn machine I was finally able to find an actual human being to deal with and got it all sorted out. As if that wasn’t enough bullshit though, the line for security was wrapped around baggage claim. After arriving at the airport two hours ahead of time, I made my flight by 5 minutes. Clusterf***? I think so. On the way to Dulles, I opted out of the 14 dollar snack box and watched Reservoir Dogs on my lap top. Not much to complain about on the actual flight. As a matter of fact, the leg room in economy on United’s 777 was not bad at all. Dulles was easy, and had conveniently located smokers areas, so that was nice. Anyhow, that pretty much brings me to the last 6 hours, which have consisted of some pretty serious boredom. Apparently there is no inflight entertainment on Lufthansa’s 747s, so I have pretty much just been drinking tons of free beer and trying to sleep, which hasn’t really worked out for me
